DENTCO is always seeking long term contractors to work the 4 seasons!

As our business expands we need your spring, summer, fall and winter expertise to help build and maintain our long-term professional relationships with our customers. Sole proprietorships and companies with employees must carry insurance. New contractors are accepted. Free training and inspections with performance reports are provided to all contractors at NO COST. We inspect 100% of all sites. Above all, we satisfy our customer.

Landscape design: Must be able to develop a complete site layout and design, including an itemized materials list of all components by name, cost and an estimated time of completion. Must be able to deliver an approved site plan accepted by county, city or state inspectors and/or regulators. Provide the customer with a suggested maintenance schedule and release date.

Landscape maintenance: Work to industry standards that reflect standard operating procedures (SOP) used by the majority of lawn care professionals in the demographic area you are working, but not less than acceptable industry standards. Prune shrubs, tree trimming, maintain planting beds, edging, trimming, etc. Note: many of our customers require enhanced or altered specifications.

Irrigation design: Must be able to provide a complete layout and design including an itemized materials list of all components by name, cost and an estimated time of completion. Must be able to produce approved site plans accepted by county, city or state inspectors and/or regulators. Suggest a summer/fall maintenance schedule.

Irrigation maintenance: Must be proficient in spring activation and fall deactivation, pressure testing, head inspection and removal and replacement of all components related to a complete irrigation system. Have necessary equipment for water and electrical diagnostic testing. Have ability to interface with water supplier if necessary. Perform full scheduled spring, summer and fall maintenance.

Snow plowing: Must have reliable equipment with minimal unscheduled maintenance. Have knowledge of extra personnel and equipment in case of unusual circumstances. Be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week as per weather requirements and be able to work until the task is complete. This includes all aspects of snow plowing.

Snow removal: Must have at your disposal, removal and loading equipment of sufficient size to remove large volumes of snow and ice in an acceptable time frame. Must have trucks and dump sites for haul away with a back up plan in case of excessive winter weather. Be on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week as per weather requirements and be able to work until the task is complete. This includes all aspects of snow removal.

Ice control: Experience with salt and chemical distribution on entryway and sidewalk surfaces, closely related grass, trees and shrubbery. Must have equipment that matches the application requirements and the experience to use it.

Fertilization and weed control: Must meet all state, county and federal licensing and/or certification requirements that apply. Employees should have up-to-date safety and medical recovery training and be outfitted with safe equipment and protective clothing. Includes weed and feed.

Parking lot maintenance: Power sweeping, resurfacing, patching, crack filling, seal coat, striping and parking block removal and installation. Repair of sinkholes and potential drain-related problems. All aspects.

Pressure Washing: The application of high-pressure water spray to be performed on: private sidewalks, municipals sidewalks, parking lot, outside stairwell, inside stairwell, parking garage, monument sign, curbs, loading dock, parking spaces, overhangs, and the exterior building wall. Pressure washing specified areas will consist of using 500PSI - 5000PSI with cold water. Water heated up to 200 degrees may be used to help remove oil, tar, gum and debris. Contractor must have proper equipment for each scope of work, have experience with all chemicals used on site, experience with water recovery, protect plant life, and know chemical and safety information in local area.

Exterior Building Painting: The application of a quality exterior paint to be applied over a surface, which has been properly prepared for paint in accordance with paint companies recommendations. Surfaces must be prepped with proper technique: pressure washing, scraping, sanding, sand or soda blasting, heat gun paint and caulk removal, and then surfaces must be re-caulked, glazed, nail holes/bee holes filled, and materials replaced if rotted or missing. Paint may be applied in accordance with paint being used, typically: Spray application which requires back-brushing or back- rolling, or brush and roller application when not spraying. Proper protection of all non-painted surfaces, plants and surrounding areas must be maintained at all times. This includes checking overspray and wind direction so the cars in the next parking lot over are protected.
